Situated in Carouge, a beloved neighborhood in Italian influenced Geneva, Le Flacon has obtained a well-deserved Michelin star. The service is very attentive and the food meticulously prepared. Our table was outside, which was quite pleasing as we enjoyed a warm summers day, but the ambiance in the inner rooms looked quite charming as well. A delightful thin crispy toast with seeds was served right as we were seated, which set the tone for the culinary delight to come. The mackerel and rhubarb and the salads as starters were perfect, and for main course the black cod was amazingly good, as was the veal and pork. Do not leave without thrilling your sweet tooth with the Chocolat, chocolat et chocolat (yes, that´s the name) dessert. Rather obviously, chocolate is the protagonist and is presented in three different forms, all which are certain to make your mouth water at sight alone. Take a relaxing after-dinner stroll in the neighborhood and enjoy some of the liveliest nightlife in town.
