Our springtime visit to this typical Kensington architecture property was made even prettier by the wonderful flowers adorning its entrance. The Kensington Hotel is located just blocks away from the tube station, very convenient to explore the whole city of London. A short five minute walk will take you to the glorious Royal Albert Hall and the Natural History Museum, and in just fifteen minutes you will reach charming Hyde Park. Just around the corner you will find plenty of restaurants and cafes, for days when you just want to have something to eat near the hotel. You will come across a delightful tiny terrace just before reaching the reception area and accessing the fashionable common areas, stylish with a contemporary atmosphere. Rooms like the Superior Doubles follow the standard in London, being overall quite small, so if space is an issue try an upgrade to the Deluxe. The hotel is located in a quiet area and you should not have any issues with noise in rooms facing the street. They can actually be quiet nice, with views to the typical Kensington neighborhood and trees on Queen’s Gate. Do avoid rooms facing the neighboring buildings and make this specific request upon booking. Service is friendlier than you usually get in London.
