Perfect location only two blocks away from the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and a short walk to both the luxurious Quadrilatero della Moda and charming Brera. A small lobby hosted by very attentive staff welcomes you to this modern and comfortable boutique hotel. The light wooden décor with unexpected shades of blue and orange make for a lovely ambience. The restaurant serves a delicious full breakfast (usually included in the rates) and we loved the snacks served at aperitivo time, as well as the fruit and water available to guests all day. Rooms are comfortable and in keeping with the general décor, with shades of blue tones, pictures adorning the walls, Italian design lampshades and delightfully comfortable beds. The Standard rooms on first floor facing the street can get some noise from the trams, which run until midnight. Request higher floors or rooms facing the internal patio if you are noise sensitive. A superb extra: the hotel is a next-door neighbor to Peck, the most prestigious Italian gastronomy shop in town. Grab your fashionable canvas bag and stock it up with prosciutto, pasta, baby artichokes, wine, truffles… and do cross the street to purchase some macarons at Ladurée as well.
