With the Duomo around the corner and very close to most of downtown´s attractions, walking distance to Brera, Quadrilatero and La Scala. We visited the property and were enchanted by its charming designer lobby, with a retro feel and unique décor, giving Room Mate Giulia its own personality. The ambiance is pleasant with furnishings in pastel colors, luxurious sofas, modern carpets, posters and wooden details decoratively placed. Unlike most hotels, breakfast is served until noon, which is very convenient for those who prefer an easy and unhurried start to the day. The accommodation follows the lobby’s decor, most with colorful and vintage touches, a lot of wood, design chairs, fashionable headboards and pastel tiled bathrooms. Room sizes are standard, but the triple room has a very small third bed (in some cases sofa beds), so if space is an issue try one of the suites with living rooms and larger bathrooms with bathtubs. Staff is very attentive and we observed they run the extra mile to assist their guests (we saw some visitors struggling to communicate in either Italian or English and the staff were obliging and most helpful). The experience at the Guilia is top rated and the unique décor and ambience are just charming!
