The Reina Victoria is just blocks away from Puerta del Sol, one of Madrid’s emblematic spots, as well as interesting attractions like the Thyssen-Bornemisza or the Prado museums. Located in historical Santa Ana Square, this 19^th Century property has a distinctive décor, combining contemporary features, design furniture and objects with leather chairs, artsy detailing and graffiti style murals, all complementing the ambiance. A stunning rooftop bar has great views of the square and the city, and caters to a lively crowd at night. Accommodation is comfortable, decorated in neutral colors and parquet floors, and the bathrooms are efficient. Standard rooms lean towards the smaller side of the range, so if possible try to upgrade to a larger one. We were quite taken with the rooms with very large windows facing the street and the square, letting in the bright madrileña daylight, so perhaps you could request this.
