We found the Art Orologio to be the perfect stay if you are on a very quick visit to Bologna. Located in the very heart of the historical center, practically on the corner of Piazza Maggiore and only a few blocks from the Two Towers. Most of the hotel’s rooms face Palazzo Accursio’s medieval walls and the ancient Clock Tower (thus the hotel’s name). The ambience and décor is old fashioned with touches of modernity, as is its reception area. Rooms are mostly classical, even though there are a few modern ones, and generally breakfast is included in the rates. Family rooms are available if needed. Overall we can say the hotel is cozy and will provide for a comfortable stay in town, especially considering it is a 3 star hotel. Attention: some of the hotel’s signs carry its old name “Albergo Orologio”.
