The headquarters of the Commercial Association of Porto houses what used to be called Stock Exchange Palace. In this site you will find one of the most beautiful rooms in the whole country, the Arabian Room. The neoclassical building itself is worth a visit, as are the interiors, with wooden paneled rooms, sculpted ceilings, interesting historical facts, relics and coats of arms. Visits last forty minutes and must be booked in advance. We found it to be a brief yet engaging cultural experience. If you want to have a meal nearby, try Ferreira Borges Market next door. The renovated red colored cast iron structure is an ultramodern space decorated in an industrial style, with open rooms, colorful furnishings and large windows. You will find a cool café and restaurant upstairs, across from Infante Dom Henrique square, where you will see people lying on the grass on beautiful weather days.
