Langosteria

Considered one of the best seafood restaurants in town the Langosteria is a high end venue in Tortona and has become quite famous for the excellence in its dishes and fine dining. The ambience is upscale with dim lighting and a sophisticated décor in dark wood, burgundy chairs and cushions. Lobsters, oysters, high quality cod and other seafood, everything tempting and delicious. They interestingly also serve many “crudes” (raw) options, some types of sashimi, carpaccio, ceviche and tartar. This restaurant is ideal for special evenings and occasions, and only opens for dinner. Bear in mind that only four blocks away is the Langosteria Bistro, a less formal setting with a typical bistro ambience and similar menu, offering comparable quality of food, a fact emphasized by the staff with great pride. It is open for lunch and dinner. In case you are around Tortona, the Langosteria, or the bistro, is not to be missed. We actually think the dishes are so exceptional it deserves a drive from anywhere in the city. In case you are in city center and do not fancy the ten-minute taxi ride to Tortona, you could try the Langosteria Café, near the Duomo at Galeria Del Corso. It has a similar menu and is usually open all day from midday to midnight (closed on Sundays). If you enjoy savoring seafood, do not miss any of the three options of Langosteria while in town. The service was one of the best we received in Milan, hats off to the dedicated and courteous staff.
