Isabel restaurant has become one of the trendiest restaurants in London nowadays and is both upscale and informal. You will see habitués in fancy fashionable clothing as well as in jeans and t-shirts. The main salon is beautifully decorated, with a magnificent central bar, exquisite lighting coming from black and gold lamps on the ceilings and small table lamps, and the restaurant’s luxurious silver and fine china will make your meal even more special. As for the food… simply delicious! The appetizer list is tempting and we found the pizzettas over arepa‘s dough (typical of the Andes) particularly alluring, so we ordered more than one. The goat’s cheese and caramelized onions made the winners’ list, but do not overlook the avocado and quail egg or the beef tartar canapés. Follow with the short rib ravioli, one of the house’s pièce de résistance, perfectly tasty. Many fish and meat options are on offer, so take your pick, and absolutely do not miss the chocolate dessert, one of the best we ever tasted in London.
