Bogota has tropical weather and usually gets a good amount of rainfall. Our suggestion is to travel to the city in the driest months, as dry as tropical nature allows. December to March or July to September could be good options. You do not have to worry much about the temperature, since it varies little during the year. December with Christmas, July with Festivities and Bogota Carnival (a celebration of the founding of the city) in early August could bring hotels rates up somewhat, so perhaps consider January, February and September as ideal months to make the most of your stay.
