A really nice hotel in Rive Droite, conveniently located a twelve-minute walk to either the Louvre Museum or the Marais neighborhood. It’s near theaters, the Folies Bergere cabarets and the Opera. The hotel is beautiful and its style is Art Nouveau with a contemporary twist, many of its features are actually original, like the mosaics on the ground floor, some of the sculptures and the iron elevator. The Breakfast Room is very pleasant and at night the bar has a lively crowd and enticing cocktails. The standard rooms have a good size and carry a Belle Époque twist as well, but if a large room is your priority try to book a suite. One charming aspect is the sense of pride the helpful staff takes in the hotel. It is quite interesting to hear the manager tell you the stories behind the decor and the building itself.
