Fraumünster is on the corner, Grossmünster across the bridge and it is a short walk to Bahnhofstrasse, business Paradeplatz and the wonderful Lake Zurich. Popular with business and leisure travelers alike, it offers a great cigar bar on the ground floor, as well as the fashionable Barchetta Café and the more sophisticated Brasserie restaurant upstairs. Rooms in general are good in size, with small but efficient bathrooms, and some have lovely river views. Suites offer more space and stunning views of the river and old town. Important notice: not all rooms at the hotel have been renovated, so request ones facing the river or on the corner to Weinplatz.
