The Savoy is another of the classic and aristocratic style hotels in Moscow. Marble and parquet floors, crystal objects and chandeliers, as well as plastered ceilings with classical paintings set the tone of this hotel’s style. The highlight is definetely the location, a 5-minute walk to the Kremlin or the Bolshoi ballet and so many other attractions in town. There is a large and excellent indoor swimming pool, and a good restaurant, which is ideal for days you just want to stay in. Rooms are spacious and follow the red, green, gold pattern of the decor. Bathrooms are really old, very large though, they could do with some modernisation, but it is actually an oversight since you should consider the excellent location as this hotel’s most important convenience.
