Hotel EAST Miami is located in downtown on top of the new Brickell City Center. We have stayed more than once at this trendy hotel, and we consider the EAST to be a top option if you choose to stay in the region, enjoy the Design District, the Wynwood Walls, and the abundance of excellent restaurants around. Reception and lobby areas are fashionable and follow the hotel’s scheme of trendsetting ambiances. The rooms are good in size and contemporary, decorated in pastel colors with a modern wooden motif, colorful pictures and very large windows. As soon as you enter your room you will feel tempted, as we did, to open the terrace windows and enjoy the skyline views. The EAST Miami has an in-house Uruguayan restaurant (attention meat lovers!) that has been granted great reviews, and the pool right by its bar is super relaxing with traditional chairs but also beanbags and table tennis tables. The hotel’s verdant rooftop bar on the 40th floor, Sugar, is self-described as an Asian jungle and the new buzz in town. It gets quite crowded almost everyday of the week, offering sizzling cocktails, Asian inspired snacks and amazing views of the city. Even though EAST is away from the beach, you can still catch some rays in the lovely swimming pool, it’s Miami after all!
