Did you ever think about going around Berlin on a Segway? Perhaps not, but this is how we rolled and we loved it! Taking a Segway tour is an exciting, fun, entertaining and informative way to visit many of Berlin´s landmarks and attractions alongside experienced tour guides. Segways are easy to use and after about three minutes you almost have the feeling it is easier than riding a bicycle. Tours include a twenty-minute training session ahead of departure. We joined a tour planned by Fat Tire and found it really worth every penny. The guide was very knowledgeable and attentive throughout the 3.5 hour roll and it was an unusual and exciting way to see the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, the Wall, and other sites. Important: book in advance, especially in late spring or summer, and take your Driving License with you, since it is a requirement.
