When the temperatures rise, and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean become even more alluring, try to skip the hectic city beaches and take a day trip to a nearby island. We highly recommend a private tailor-made boat trip, where you can discuss your needs and preferences with your skipper and sit back as your sail to a perfect beach getaway. We suggest idyllic Rosario Natural Park (avoid the areas with hordes of tourists in catamarans) and Isla Baru, with magnificent crystalline waters in all of shades of blue. There are some companies offering rentals, we tried “Boats4u”  and they were very efficient; another good idea is to organize your boat day through your hotel’s concierge, who will be able to insist with the skipper to take you to the non-touristic spots.
