Vanil

The Vanil is a high-end restaurant that has been very succesful with trendy Muscovites; it has a sleek yet relaxed atmosphere. Conveniently located in Arbatskaya near the Pushkin Museum, it is a good lunch choice if you are around, when you will probably be surrounded by business people or relaxed lunch seekers. At night there is a pleasant and modern lounge music playing, you should try a table with views to the Cathedral Christ the Saviour, and after dinner go for a stroll and check how beautiful the cathedral is when lit up. The menu is quite ecletic with modern fusion cuisine, and the Asian inspired dishes are usually better than the other plain European choices. It is a fashionable place, the food is good but not the most outstanding in town, try Vanil if you are looking for more of an overall great experience.
