Minetta Tavern

A must in NYC, this Greenwich Village classic has the same owner as Morandi, Pastis and Balthazar, names whose reputation leaves little else to be said. Opened in 1937, Minetta Tavern has had renowned habitués such as Ernest Hemingway and Ezra Pound. To this day, the atmosphere is vibrant, with a New York City flair and bustling bar where customers anxiously await to be seated. As you await your table, enjoy the collection of vintage photos and charming wooden bar, but please do not risk not being seated and book ahead. Request a table in the back room, as those are the most popular. Savor the steak frites, the Za Za pasta or any other bistro dish they have on the menu. The Black Label cheeseburger is considered one of the best in town, which we tend to agree, so place your order and enjoy!
