When to
Go

New York City is attractive all year round. With all four established seasons, New York has hot summers, cold winters and milder temperatures in spring and fall. Winter can be quite cold, yet the enchantment of a snow covered Central Park make up for it (hot tip: take advantage of the best hotel rates at this time of year, except for the weeks before Christmas). Spring has pleasant temperatures and flowers everywhere and fall is just perfect for strolling around Central Park amidst its colorful trees and falling leaves. In summer things heat up, so enjoy the waterfront venues when temperatures peak or choose the shoulder months for more pleasant temperatures.
