The restaurant is located in the heart of Mayfair, in the luxurious Govesnor Square, and run by celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay, which leaves little else to be said. As you arrive at the beautiful venue, you have an option of a formal dining experience to the left or a more casual stylish atmosphere to the right. The innovative European menu has amazing dishes. We opted for the steak and never looked back, as it was cooked to perfection. The menu also included delicacies such as tiger prawns or lamb cutlets. We found it odd to mix them with the selection of sashimi on offer, but table next to ours seemed to be enjoying this intriguing mélange. For desserts we checked the creative list, with options that included passion fruit pavlova or mandarin sorbet. Tasting menus and wine pairing were also available. The Maze is a perfect option if you want to try one of London’s the top restaurants by a renowned chef at a more reasonable price.
