Huguette

The venue lies in Saint Germain des Prés, on a street full of cafes, bars and restaurants, and has lovely terraces, quite pleasant on good weather days. The overall ambience could not be more joyful. The specialties are seafood and fish, yet Huguette serves them in creative ways, ranging from crude (raw versions that have become quite trendy) and ceviches or dim sums to the typical French seafood dishes or simple grilled fish. Our feast started with shrimp dim sum that was simply delicious, as well as super fresh oysters, followed by some grilled fish over asparagus on a cream sauce. Lobsters, prawns, mussels… all tempting. The restaurant also serves chicken and meat dishes, and in fact we saw a kind of surf and turf at a table near ours that made us check diaries to see when to go back to try it. It was a hot day, so we ordered a rosé to accompany dinner and had one of our best meals in town!
