Considered the best restaurant in town, with renowned chef Michael Kempf and two Michelin stars, we highly recommend you try it. The elegant yet casual restaurant is conveniently located by Postdamer Platz at Mandala Hotel. An inner court garden and dim lighting make for a pleasant atmosphere in which delicious meals are served by friendly staff, devoid of any unnecessarily posh demeanor. A Chef’s Special Menu, usually set daily by the staff, is on offer. From the main menu, for starters we had the more than perfect foie gras terrine with corn served in whisky and the perfectly balanced eggplant with yogurt. For main course: char with leeks and the duck breast with pumpkin and mango, both amazing. For dessert, try the delightful chocolate tart with passion fruit and coconut, well worth the calories. Overall, the dining experience at Facil was memorable and uncomplicated, which perhaps was the intended purpose since the restaurant’s name means easy in Spanish. If we have whet your appetite, book your table and enjoy! (HOT TIP: the lunch menu is less expensive than the dinner one, yet equally delicious).
