Mostly frequented by locals, the Chez Monsieur is a laid-back bistro near Place de la Concorde and Madeleine Church. It has excellent food and is worth the stop if you are visiting the region or shopping at Saint Honoré street. We had a wonderful meal there, the fish on a creamy sauce was delicious, but the highlight of our evening was the boeuf, perfectly cooked and served with crunchy asparagus. The profiteroles for dessert were scrumptious, served with an incredible chocolate sauce, do not miss it! On a nice sunny day or pleasant evening try the outdoor tables. The staff is most gracious and although the wine list is very good, you can trust the waiters’ recommendations without hesitation. Try Chez Monsieur and be in the know!
