Cafe Milano

Charming Italian restaurant centrally located in Georgetown, just off Wisconsin Avenue. It is well in demand by the mostly local clientele, so it may be worth booking a table. The staff is very welcoming and attentive, and you cannot go wrong with the fried zucchini or octopus to start your meal, followed by one of the amazing pastas (the lobster linguini was sublime when we last tried it), the branzino or one of the meats from the extensive list including rack of lamb, veal chops, wagyu, you name it! We always dined at lunchtime, in between our visit to monuments, museums or shopping, but locals say evenings are great as well.
