Whether you side with the loyal clientele who class it as the best meat served in the Netherlands or those who say it is just top three, Café Loetje is a hot spot for locals and a must for your visit. The décor is relaxed, as is its ambiance, but it can get quite busy. We highly recommend the mouthwatering tenderloin with the house´s traditional sauce (there are other options to suit preferences, such as spicy sauces) with a side of fries (served with an interesting type of mayonnaise) and sauté mushrooms. Although we skipped dessert, we glanced with slight envy at a nearby table´s very dark chocolate cake served with cream, which they seemed to enjoy tremendously
