Breizh Café

Breizh Café has the best galettes (savory) and crepes (sweet) in Paris, and you will not find better quality and creativity in fillings like you do at Breizh. We so liked the galettes we ended up paying more than one visit to the café.  We recommend the lovely eatery in Saint Germain de Près and, if the weather is good, that you sit outside a la mode Parisian. Our preferred galette was made of asparagus and Comte cheese on sarassin dough served with an egg on top, but you will find a good amount of different fillings, including ones with chicken and ementhal cheese and even truffles. We loved the rolls, a smaller rolled version of the galettes, and our favorite was the cheese and mushroom. They are perfect for a lunchtime snack accompanied by the (many) excellent beers the house offers. For desserts, the Nutella or caramel crepes seemed to be the most scrumptious options. Breizh has a lovely “crepe truck” in summer by the Seine, on the left bank near D’Orsay Museum. You can grab a galette and a beer and sit by the river, a lovely program after an agreeable late afternoon stroll.
