Aux Lyonnais

The Aux Lyonnais is a very old bistro graciously revitalized by renowned chef Alain Ducasse. Reserve a table and taste a reasonably priced meal by super famous chef Alain Ducasse. The food is regional, as the name suggests, and the menu is authentically French with ouefs cocotte, quenelles, terrines and foie gras, charcuterie as well as desserts like île flottante and marjolaines. The ambience is lovely and typical of a bistro with French terracotta tiling and wooden tables, and attentive service. Try oeufs cocotte as a starter, but for the main course you cannot go wrong with either the beef or fish, those were our orders and simply delicious. The quenelles were a bit disappointing, even though we had heard people come from great distances to savor it. Do not skip dessert, the île flottante was a bit too mild, but the chocolate marjolaine and brioche perdue were delightful.
