This brand new property is quite fresh in the Lisbon hotel scene and will likely live up to your expectations, in case you choose to stay close to Cais do Sodre. The convenient location is perfect to explore the city, as well as to make the most of its nightlife, trendy bars and restaurants. In our very recent stay we loved the complimentary walking tour of the historic center, the pastries and sweets on display at the lobby and the sparkling wine to accompany the well catered breakfast. The modern hotel has a very agreeable straight forward style, in neutral hues and contemporary furnishings. The Tegus River is on view from the terraces, a most pleasant feature. Each floor has a different setting and décor theme, all related to the history of Portugal and its explorers’ worldly endeavors. Facilities in the bedrooms are fancy, following the style of the common areas, and we found it quite interesting that family rooms are available, a rare find in Lisbon. We believe Portugal is a top destination in terms of excellence in hospitality, but the staff at Corpo Santo might just bring you to new levels of expectations. It is a five-star hotel at excellent value for the experience, but do hurry, as the more well-known the hotel becomes, the higher the likelihood rates will go up.
