It is not actually a restaurant, but a cool open-air area composed of two or three streets, a tiny square and everything trendy you can think of: food trucks, cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, stalls, galleries and joints of all kinds. Located in Alcantara, in an area that used to hold a textile factory shut down and revamped years ago. There is a bit of everything there, so take your time… but if we may make some suggestions, do not miss: Rio Maravilha, a restaurant on top of an old building and with a über cool rooftop bar with panoramic views to the Tagus; pizzas at Mesa and do try a table outside if weather is nice; hot dogs at colorful Dogs and, if chocolate is your thing, a cake considered to be the best in the world by NY Times can be savored at Landeau (one more address in town)! There are more things to do at LX Factory, so take a look at some of our suggestions besides eating and drinking and do not hesitate to spend some hours at LX Factory, you will have a lot of fun in this semi- hipster quarter.
