Hotel Casa Medina
This stunning property located in Zona G, a fashionable gastronomic region in town, is housed in a beautifully restored 1940’s building that has recently become part of the Four Seasons family of hotels. Although we generally deem large chain hotels to lack in personality, Casa Medina is certainly an exception. The hotel’s modern sophistication blends perfectly with the classical brick building, successfully maintaining its authentic historical allure. The impressive décor and inviting ambiances are adorned with wooden floors, stonewalls, beamed ceilings and hand-carved doors and columns. A typical Spanish courtyard is quite pleasant for pre-dinner drinks or for some relaxation after a day visiting the city. The excellent in-house restaurant, Castonyoles, is perfect for days when you just want to stay in. The attractive décor along with the bar and its vertical garden, will likely make you feel as though you are dining al fresco. Rooms are in keeping with the elegant common areas, a rustic chic décor with leather sofas, vintage trunks serving as coffee tables and wooden flooring. Some rooms have particularly large windows and agreeable views to tree tops. The hotel’s hospitality and high quality services are simply flawless.
