Warwick

This old style property could be a little more charming, but the location is excellent and the rates are one of the most favorable cost versus benefit choices in central Brussels. The Warwick has a traditional style with classic wooden furnishings, but recent renovations brought comforts to its facilities, like central air conditioning and more modern equipment and amenities, which the staff really emphasized to us. A five minute walk will take you to all major attractions around Grand Place, as well as to a great amount of restaurants and cafes. The breakfast buffet is very well catered, one of the most generous servings we have seen in Europe lately. Rooms are good in size, even the standard ones, and bathrooms a bit old-fashioned. Do request a Premium room or suite in case you need a more complete stay, and ask for a quiet room, as on weekends the region gets quite lively. The staff is excellent and gentle, and reminded us of the old-time hôteliers that took the hospitality business seriously and hosted each guest with class, impeccable attention to detail and care.
