Hotel Alma is situated in Eixample and by Passeig de Gràcia, this boutique property is eight blocks from Sagrada Familia and many of the major attractions in Barcelona are walking distance, like Casa Batló or La Pedrera. The classical yet modern façade hides the minimalist architectural interior, elegantly decorated in shades of grey, dim lighting, a lot of warming wood and tasteful furniture textiles. We loved the outdoor area, with a bar and a pebble floor garden, wooden couches and small tables, a pleasant setting to re-energize after a day’s stroll and before hitting the tapas bars at night, or even on a lazy day off, ideal to stay and enjoy some food in-house. Rooms are generous in size and the hotel décor explores a lot of white and grey, leather chairs, parquet floors and marble bathrooms. Pleasant seating rooms are added to the spacious suites, which grant free access to the in-house spa. Request a room facing the street (with a tiny balcony) or the garden for most pleasant views.
