Where to Stay

The flat topography of Washington DC coupled with its numerous parks, iconic monuments and the Potomac River invite visitors to take strolls and long walks amongst its beautiful landscapes.  Weather permitting, stay in areas close to the monuments and The Mall. Neighborhoods with unique names like Foggy Bottom, Penn Quarter, Dupont Circle and Capitol Hill will appear in internet searches, but we have described our suggested hotels in relation to DC’s monuments and attractions, to make your visit easier. Another option for a great stay is Georgetown, the charming side of Washington DC that we cherish so. Should you choose Georgetown bear in mind you will need a cab to go to downtown DC where most businesses and attractions are located.
